Donna L HarrisonAs a Bioarchaeologist, Dr. Harrison analyses skeletons, collecting age, sex and pathology data as well as investigating population specific traits. All of these components, and more, provide a wealth of data as a researcher. She particularly studies ollections that include juveniles as they provide early data on trends that are found in adults. Her research is on the estimation of sex using morphological and metric methods and will be the basis for her proposed work. Dr. Harrison has participated in archaeological digs in the UK, Belgium and Spain and is a Registered Professional Archaeologist in the United States. She is a member of the Paleopathology Association, the American Association of Physical Anthropologists, the Society of American Archaeology and the American Institute of Archaeology.
