Donna JunkerDonna Junker (née Kasik) has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from North Central College in Naperville, IL, a Master of Divinity from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, IL., certification in Thanatology, certification in Christian Drugand Alcohol Counseling, as well as one year of Clinical Pastoral Education. She is an ordained chaplain through the World Council of Independent Christian Churches, and has six years experience working as the chaplain of a Rescue Mission, as well as many years working as a hospital and hospice chaplain. Chaplain Junker's passion is cultural studies and mission work. She taught short-term intensives for six years at a seminary in Kenya, East Africa, ministered at Mother Teresa's home for the dying in Calcutta, India, and worked at an AIDS hospice in Zambia, Southern Africa.
