Donna F JacobsAuthor Donna F. Jacobs moved to Charleston in 1974 to attend the College of Charleston. When she and her husband decided to buy a home, they settled in the Byrnes Downs neighborhood of West Ashley. Donna has been active in the Byrnes Downs Neighborhod Association since its inception, and through her involvement in the association, she was introduced to the scrapbook produced by the original garden club. The scrapbook provided the inspiration for her first Arcadia book, Images of America: Byrnes Downs.
