Domenico PirozziDOMENICO PIROZZI is Professor of Biochemical Engineering Principles at the University Federico II of Naples and member of the Interdepartmental Center for Environmental Research (C.I.R.AM). Prof. Pirozzi received his PhD in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Biochemical Engineering at the University Federico II, and subsequently spent 18 months at University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, UK) within the TMR Program. His primary research interests include enzymatic reactors, biofuel production from from wastes, bioremediation of polluted waters. He has been responsible of several research projects and consultant for several companies, and is author of about 100 papers in ISI indexed journals and of several book chapters. He has a long experience of teaching Biochemical Engineering Principles, Biochemical Reactors, Transport Phenomena at the University Federico II of Naples, and has tutored several graduate and PhD theses. He has also taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the Universidad National del Litoral (Santa Fe, Argentina) and the Tsing-Hua University (Bejing, China) as Visiting Professor.
