Her research focuses on reconstructing the appearance of fragmented Late Antique and Early Medieval wall and vault mosaics and frescoes in Rome and Latium. Elena Turchi is a PhD student of Christian Epigraphy at the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archeology, and a graduate in Classical Archeology from the Roma Tre University.
