Dianne PalovcikDianne (Taylor) Palovcik began her writing career after retirement when she challenged herself to write a novel. Her work focuses on Canadian history, bringing it to life with relatable characters, strong storylines and detailed settings. Dianne's sucessful debut novel, In Trouble is disturbing and illuminating fiction, a story of unwed mothers and forced adoption in Canada during the 1960's. In Trouble was recognized by the Writers Guild of Alberta in 2020 with an in-depth interview of the author and her work. Not All Widows Wear Black weaves an engaging Victorian tale complete with lies, revenge, murder and a touch of romance. Dianne lives in Alberta, Canada. She is a graduate of Acadia University and completed studies at the University of Alberta, University of San Francisco and Lakeland College.
