Diane AllanDiane Allan was born in Windsor, Ontario but grew up in Regina Saskatchewan. As a child however, she made several trips to visit her maternal grandmother who lived in Victoria BC and fell completely in love with the city. She thereby moved her familyto Victoria in 1973. She and her husband have raised five children and their family now includes 9 grandchildren.

During the 24 years Diane worked in the Federal Government, she also operated her own dried floral company called Earthborne Designs and was, for a time, the floral designer for the Aerie Resort. After retiring from the government, she worked for a few years as a Realtor before retiring a second time. She has taken many courses over the years involving flower arranging and interior decorating and continues to be up to date with current trends. Recently after thirty plus years of gardening, it has become more than a hobby. It has also lead her to venture into the realm of writing whimsical rhymes and poetry. Read More Read Less
