Dian Evans

Dr. Dian Dowling Evans is Professor Emeritus and former Program Director of the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. With over 30 years of clinical experience as an emergency nurse practitioner (ENP), Dr. Evans helped to pineer and advance the ENP role. Her contributions include collaborating with a core group of ENP national leaders to establish the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners (AAENP) serving as a founding board member and Past-Chair. During her tenure she established and led the ENP Special Practice Group for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the ENP Special Interest Group for the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties.
