Devan B DeyerinKara homeschooled her son Devan from third through eighth grade. His first writing assignment was to mimic a book from the Beast Quest series, his favorite at the time. Devan loved this assignment and has been an avid writer ever since. Overthe pandemic they started writing together to explore Devan's story idea, and what started as a friendly challenge became much more. They each wrote a chapter, combined them, and loved the outcome. When not writing together, Devan loves painting Warhammer figurines and staring at critters under a microscope, while his mom enjoys cooking and non-profit work.
