Dr. Buchanan also completed a PhD fellowship at the University of Geneva Switzerland and has been the recipient of many prestigious academic and research awards. His research applications are primarily focused on the use of neuroimaging, brain stimulation, brain computer interfaces, and machine learning to improve the classification and treatment of mental health and neurological diseases. As a clinical neuroscientist he has authored dozens of scientific publications and academic essays. Dr. Buchanan is the Founder and CEO of CanadaNeuro Inc, a clinical research institute for mental health and neurological diseases.
