Derek TruemanDerek Trueman is a British lecturer and teacher who has worked around the world, and he also acts as a senior examiner for UK exam boards. He spent many summers in Puglia, Italy at his family's second home and fell in love with the Italian way of lif, the people and the landscape, all of which inspired this first novel, which in part is factually based.
