RONDINELLI is Professor of International Business and Director of the International Private Enterprise Development Research Center at the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at hapel Hill. He has authored or edited 13 books, including Privatization and Economic Reform in Central Europe (Quorum Books, 1994), and more than 150 articles in professional and scholarly journals on international economic development, privatization, and international development management. He has also served as an advisor to the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank, the United Nations Development Program, and the Asian Development Bank.
