Denise Guymeri was raised on a farm in western Queensland and I spent a lot of of my childhood exploring the scrub area around my home. I spent quite some time watching the birds and their antics. Years later when driving home from school one afternoon a low flyig duck almost crashed into my car and I thought that was really weird.
