Denise Barkis RichterDenise Barkis Richter, Ph.D. (UT-Austin, 1998, Journalism), started her blog, sanantoniotourist.net, in June 2010 to share her love of the Alamo City with fellow adventurers. Thanks to her parents, she's been a traveler since she was a small child, ad travel is her lifelong passion. She became a certified professional tour guide in 2019. Richter has lived and studied in Mexico, Spain, and Guatemala, and she has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
