Denbigh SaleDenbigh is an artist and writer, this being her fourth published book. However, her career began as an artist when she studied Italian at the University of Florence and at the same time, attended the Poggi School of Art.In 1960 her professional caree began when she was invited to exhibit at the Clune Gallery, Sydney in the Young Artists Exhibition for promising young artists. Included were the now famous names of Colin Lanceley, Brett Whitely, Robert Hughes and Brian Dunlop. Since then, she has exhibited in numerous exhibitions, won various prizes and commendations, whilst many of her works are represented in private collections both in Australia and overseas.For 18 years she was a tutor in watercolour, figure drawing and pastel at the Waverley Woollahra Arts Centre in Sydney.In 2000 she received a Diploma of Professionals Children's Writing from the Australian College of Journalism leading to her writing career.She now lives in the Blue Mountains where she continues to paint and write.
