Dee ScottDee Scott was born in Dublin and educated at Loreto College, Dublin, Ireland and New York University, NY. USA.She started out as an actress with the Irish National Theatre Group in New York City and appeared in three 'Off Broadway' productions, but te cost of living in that city dictated that she found steadier employment. She took a job in the Press and Public Relations Department of a major British airline and found she had a flair for writing copy and press releases. That was the start of her ambition to become a writer. Following her marriage in New York to an Englishman; when he was posted back to the UK they settled in Old Windsor, Berkshire. Two children followed in short order, side-lining any writing ambitions for a few years. Becoming a single parent when the children were still very young, saw Dee develop a career in Business Management. After studying for the appropriate qualifications, she became the Managing Director of her own Training and Management Colleges and an accredited NVQ Assessor at Management Level. For these Colleges she wrote training programs and seminars that were subsequently bought by the Government for their own training and development courses.
