Debbie Joy BrookesDebbie Joy Brookes was born in Somerset in 1963, overlooking the Severn Estuary. Spending all childhood holidays camping by the coast, a love of the seaside has continued her whole life. She worked as an Occupational Therapist in Bristol, and then laer as an illustrator after having her first of three daughters. After having her youngest daughter, Debbie began to specialise in child and pet portraits.
