Before earning his PhD in sociology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, he received a B.S. in horticulture from the University of Ahwaz, Iran. Dr. Tehrani has written numerousfiction and non-fiction books and articles in Persian, including Figurine, Negative Aspects of Punishment, Angel of Hell and most recently, The Story of Human Sciences.
