David SappDavid Sapp, artist, writer and professor, is a native of the evocative landscape, vibrant light, gently rolling hills, and wide, meandering Kokosing River valley of central Ohio. He is a Pushcart nominee and the recipient of Ohio Arts Council Individal Excellence Award Grants for both visual art and poetry. His poems have appeared widely in many print and online venues across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. His publications also include articles in the Journal of Creative Behavior, chapbooks Close to Home and Two Buddha, and his novel Flying Over Erie. His graphite drawings have been exhibited in solo, group, and juried exhibitions across the nation. He earned baccalaureate degrees in art and psychology and a master of fine arts in drawing.
