David MacGillThe author has worked in the finance industry for nearly 40 years and is married with two daughters and a son, all now adults, and two grandsons. The idea for the story book stemmed from the older grandson, Corey, who was seven at the time, stating tat penguins and polar bears could never meet as they inhabited opposite poles. The author, therefore, decided to write a story for him whereby a penguin and a polar bear not only did actually meet, but subsequently became best friends.
