During David's tenure, FindLaw's online traffic grew to be one of the top 300 websites in the United States. In 2004, he was invited by Sheryl Sandberg to present to the entire Google advertising team on best practices in Google advertising.In 2004, David joined Adteractive, an online lead generation company. David increased the company's online marketing spend from $100,000 a month to over $1.5 million a month, developed an algorithm for SEM bid management, and invented several SEM strategies that became best practices in the industry, including the "Golden Corral" keyword management process.David joined Mercantila.com, an ecommerce drop shipper in 2007 as Vice President of Advertising. At Mercantila, David managed a 15-person team on two continents and built the first profitable marketing campaigns in the company's history.In 2008, David launched PPCAdBuying.com, later known as PPC Associates and, eventually, 3Q Digital. David started the agency in a coffee shop in Pacifica, California.
