Dascha DüringDascha Düring received her PhD in cross-cultural philosophy from Utrecht University (the Netherlands) and is currently a post-doctoral fellow of the School of Humanities, Nanyang Technological University Singapore. In her research, she examines diffeences and similarities in the ways in which Chinese and Western traditions have understood basic ethical and political concepts, and analyzes the role of assumptions regarding cross-cultural hermeneutics.
