He also serves as Scholar In-Residence for the Second Epscopal District under Bishop Marvin Frank Thomas Sr. Adams completed his PhD in theology and ethics at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary on the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
