Darren PhillipsDARREN PHILLIPS is a Northerner from a long line of Northerners: adventurers and story tellers; with a family tree that goes back to before John Molson first brewed beer in Canada. He is a writer, poet, builder and teacher, among many other things. Drren lives on Manitoulin Island and works in Northern Quebec with the Eeyou of Eeyou Istchee, teaching Carpentry and Building Trades for the Cree School Board. Initially spurred to write as a way to keep himself occupied during a particularly long winter, with a severe fever, Phillips has continued to write.
