Darlene SpicerDarlene Spicer lives in Fishers, Indiana, with her husband and two dachshunds, all three of whom helped inspire her book. Darlene's love for animals manifested itself early on in her life. She's always had dogs and even worked as a mini-dachshund breder for a time. She's always talked about writing a children's book, and her husband told her to get on it! She wrote it for all her nieces and nephews. More than anything, she wants her book to point to God and share a meaningful story in a way that kids can understand and enjoy.
