Dar BagbyDar Bagby lives in Michigan's upper peninsula with her husband, Ken, and a miniature dachshund named Hammie. Dar was born and raised near Dayton, Ohio, but her family vacationed annually in the U.P. She and Ken were married in the wheelhouse of a Gret Lakes freighter and now call the shores of Lake Superior home. She was a veterinary assistant for 12 years, a medical transcriptionist for 15 years, and the senior editor for a publishing company until retiring in 2018.
