Daniel N GossettDan Gossett's love affair with Rocky Mountain National Park began in the 1960's hiking and camping in Wild Basin, where water was an important part of the experience. He started working for the National Park Service on seasonal trail crews and as a tail's foreman from 1974 through 1980. He was on the RMNP Technical Rescue Team, dispatched, fought the Ouzel Fire, wrote backcountry permits, photographed natural resources for the Park, and volunteered at Park Headquarters.
