Having started his career at the National Security Agency (NSA), Dan has also served global technology and security teams with Locheed Martin (formerly Loral Aerospace), ManTech International, the state of Michigan, and Security Mentor, Inc. He has received numerous executive leadership awards, including SC Magazine CSO of the Year, Governing Public Official of the Year, Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader, and Cybersecurity Breakthrough CISO of the Year. Dan is the author of two books, Virtual Integrity: Faithfully Navigating the Brave New Web and BYOD for You: The Guide to Bring Your Own Device to Work, and has contributed to numerous others. He has been a keynote speaker at global security and technology conferences from South Africa to Dubai and Washington DC to Moscow.
