Daniel E MaciasI have never thought of myself as a writer. I like telling stories. Some of my stories are pretty good, and some are really bad. Nevertheless, I find that most people like my stories. I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, but have lived in Texas most o my adult life. I did not move to Texas by choice. Circumstance, and maybe fate, brought me to San Antonio. My experiences here have been both satisfying and inspiring ... and fulfilling.I have a Bachelor's degree from UMKC, a Master's degree from UTSA, and a Ph.D. from University of Texas, Austin. I was a licensed psychologist for most of my professional life. My practice took me to a prison, a state hospital, nursing homes, as well as college teaching. These stories were written years ago. After retirement, I decided to organize my stories into print. Most of these stories go back to my developmental years and onward. I was an Altar Boy for several years and that experience stayed with me like a tattoo etched on my chest. I hope you like my coming-of-age stories.Please review them.
