Dan JilgDan grew up on a small Nebraskan cattle ranch outside a little town. He attended a little two-room redbrick country schoolhouse, where the two rooms were separated only by a green corrugated curtain. He did not consume store-bought milk, eggs, chicke, and beef at home until he was in ninth grade. He always participated in creative writing in local fairs and school contests. Dan went to trade school, obtained a degree in an engineering science field, and now works as an inspector. He married the love of his life in 2010, and they have three beautiful baby boys together.
