Damien GildeaDAMIEN GILDEA has led seven successful expeditions to the high mountains of Antarctica since 2001. In 1998, he published the Antarctic Mountaineering Chronology (New Zealand Mountain Safety Council). Known for his high- precsion GPS data, Damien has also published two topographical maps for Livingston Island (2004) and Vinson Massif & the Sentinel Range (2007), the latter of which includes a number of new features named by the USGS.
