Dainty NixDainty Nix was born in Jamaica West Indies. She is currently an Author of Children's Books and a part time College Professor. Dainty lives in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania with her husband. Dainty has a Master's Degree in Education. She taught for many yers at F.H. La Guardia High School of Music and Arts and Performing Arts in New York City. Dainty's major goal in life is to motivate the younger generation and to bring out their inner strengths While still teaching, Dainty made the commitment to become a Children's Book Author. She believes that children and young adults should be inspired, while having fun, through reading. Dainty first learnt the craft of writing Children's Books at Pratt Institute. She further developed her craft at the Children's Book Academy. Dainty will soon be receiving a certificate in Children's Book Writing from The UC San Diego Extended Studies.
