D C FontanaD.C. Fontana (1939-2019) was one of very few female scribes to write action adventure television in the 1960's. After writing for several Western genre shows ("Bonanza", "Big Valley" among others), she was best known for developing the half Vulcan, hlf human character Mr. Spock of "Star Trek" fame and story editing the original series plus writing, story editing and associate producing the "Next Generation" and "Star Trek Animated" series. Her multi-genre T.V. credits are too plentiful to list here and she wrote scripts for several video games. Dorothy's prose work was published by Simon and Schuster, Ballantine, Morrow and others.
