She used hr knowledge of protocol and etiquette as protocol chief for MCI Telecommunications and director of the Lett Group. In 2005 she started and continues to run the International Society of Protocol & Etiquette Professionals, which is the only international certification provider in the industry. She taught business protocol at the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs for seven years.
