Cynthia L StewartCynthia has more than 30 years of experience in the medical profession. In the past 18 years she has applied her knowledge and skills in several capacities, providing coding and billing direction as a billing supervisor, practice manager, senior codig specialist, coding and reimbursement consultant, and revenue cycle systems manager of coding and charge entry. As an educator Cynthia was the Director of the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and Healthcare Management academic programs at Medtech College, Indianapolis campus, and has provided direction and instruction at Manhattan Area Technical College. She is an AAPC ICD-10-CM trainer and a workshop presenter, and she has provided instruction through her work as a reviewer, contributing author, and research assistant for various coding and billing texts and periodicals.
Cynthia has been a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders since 1998, serving as the President of the Central Indiana chapter in Indianapolis prior to serving as the 2011-2013 National Advisory Board President.
