Cynthia AltrecheCynthia Altreche was born and raised in Brooklyn. At the age of twenty seven she had her first child and moved to Staten Island. Cynthia is now fifty with three adult children. She has been working in a school with children for thirteen years and woudn't change it for any other job in the world. The children are the reason Cynthia was inspired to write children's books.
