Courtney L TollisonDr. Courtney L. Tollison is Museum Historian for the Upcountry History Museum and Assistant Professor of History at Furman University. In addition to numerous scholarly articles on the history of the South Carolina upcountry, she authored Furman Univrsity (SC) (College History Series) for Arcadia in 2004. She has connections with all local historical societies and smaller museums, as well as with the mayor of Greenville, local media representatives, and book store owners. In 2007, Dr. Tollison co-produced a 24-minute video documentary in 2007 about WWII and upcountry South Carolina that won a National Award of Merit from the American Association for State and Local History in 2008.
