Court E RossmanCourt Rossman first saw and built water bottle rockets, as an adult, while helping with Cub Scouts. Water rocket seemed like a great introduction to hand's-on rocket building. He was impressed that there was a basic rocket to demonstrate the concept, and that the kids could build the rocket themselves. Court certainly learned himself as a volunteer from doing the activity. Court is participating in the emphasis on hands-on learning. Science kits are readily available these days, and that is great. He just wants to help that trend, so the next generation has practical knowledge and creativity. Court has also published 'Gamut of Speedy Rockets' and 'Scout Pinewood Derby Cars and Real Cars'. Court has a life-long interest in physics and science, and has a Ph.D. in physics, and works on rocket sensors through his day job. Read More Read Less
