Corinne K AveryAlways an artist, Corinne grew up with her five siblings on a farm surrounded by sheep in a beautiful patchwork of hillsides in upstate New York. Corinne painted with watercolors as a young girl, later obtaining a BFA from SUNY Potsdam, and a mastersof art education from Nazareth College of Rochester. She was certified to teach K-12 art. After two teaching jobs, Corinne chose to be a stay at home mom to her three children. She began reading children's books voraciously to her kids, filling the gap that she had as a child. Corinne took courses in watercolor and children's book writing and illustration at the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery's Creative Workshop.
