A prolific author, Baloup published An Autumn in Hanoi and the series Vietnamese Memories, the critically acclaimed Chinh Tri, Sweet Devils and The Red Concubine fr Mathieu Jiro, The Club of Suicide for Eddy Vaccaro, and The Belly of the Hyena for Christophe Alliel. His books have been translated into Spanish, Italian, German, and English. Clément was awarded the Ecumenical Jury Prize for Comics for the first volume of Vietnamese Memories: Leaving Saigon.
