Clyde O McDaniel

Clyde O McDanielClyde O. McDaniel is a Professor of Sociology at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. He received his B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees from Fayetteville State University, North Carolina Central University, and the University of Pittsburgh resectively. His areas of specialization are applied social research, social problems, and urban sociology. His professional experiences span the spectrum, over a 39-year period, from teaching in public school to colleges and universities in the northeastern, southwestern, and southern parts of the United States. He has directed research centers in school systems and universities; he has served in various university administrative capacities; and he has consulted, given editorial assistance, and presented papers throughout the country and abroad. He is a prolific writer, having published more than 80 works including four books (one on black leadership).
