Clifford HanleyClifford 'Cliff' Hanley was a Glasgow journalist, broadcaster and novelist. In addition to his journalism, he is best known for writing the words to Scotland's unofficial national anthem, Scotland the Brave. Under the pen-name Henry Calvin he publishd a number of thrillers. He also wrote film and TV scripts - one of his scripts for Between the Lines was described by Mary Whitehouse as 'the filthiest programme' she had seen on TV for a ver long time at the first Clean Up TV Campaign in 1964.
