Cliff JonesCliff Jones was born in Swansea and signed for his hometown club while working at the local docks. A proud Welshman he played 59 times for his country and in 1958 he played in the World Cup against Pele. He moved to Tottenham for a British record feeof £35,000 and became a fully-fledged star - famously being part of the team that won the League and FA Cup double in 1960/61.
