Cletus N Chukwu
Cletus N. Chukwu, the author of this book, A Way to Wisdom: Philosophy, Science and Religion, explores and gives a broad range of informative insights into many fields of knowledge and the goal of life for inquiring minds. He is a full Professor o Philosophy teaching at Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya. Prof. Chukwu studied at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India where he obtained his PhD in Philosophy in 1993. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the German Existentialist Philosopher and theologian, Karl Jaspers. He extensively studied philosophy, mysticism and religions of Western and Eastern traditions. The author writes from his personal journey through lived experience of what the above traditional paths of learning have to offer to our spiritual evolution and global wellbeing in our interdependent economic affairs for the common good. He has authored a couple of university books including An Introduction to Philosophy in an African Perspective (2002), Applied Ethics and HIV/AIDS in Africa: A philosophical discourse (2003), Karl Jasper's Philosophy of Existence (2011). He attempts to share his brand of knowledge in this book with the general reader, and professional scholars. Prof. Chukwu is originally from Nigeria; his wife is Kenyan and PhD holder. He is an internationally published author of three academic books and several published articles cutting across various fields of interest in humanities and biological sciences.
