Cleland SmithCleland Smith is the author of the science fiction novel 'Sequela'. Smith was born in the Highlands of Scotland in 1977 and grew up in Dingwall by the Cromarty Firth. She has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Glasgow nd an MA in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths College, London.Smith has worked as a supermarket store detective, a telecoms knowledge engineer, a business analyst in the banking sector, and as the development manager for an award winning elearning company. She has published one pamphlet and two collections of poetry under her maiden name, Angela Cleland, with her third collection 'Real Cute Danger' coming out from Broken Sleep Books in 2022. She lives in Surrey with her husband and two sons where she continues to write science fiction, fantasy and poetry, and tutors poetry. Smith is represented by literary agent John Jarrold.
