Claudia May

Claudia MayClaudia May is a specialist in African American, Black British, and Anglophone Caribbean literature, theatre, and popular culture. May received her PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and has over twelve years teaching experience in highr education. She is a visiting scholar in the department of African American studies and African diaspora studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and a recipient of the Pacific School of Religion Presidents award. In her role as a spiritual director, May enables participants to discover how their practice of self-care strategies can benefit their vision for ministry and transform how they serve others.
