Claude MoritaClaude Morita was born in Hood River, Oregon, in 1928. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, he and his family were interned in the Pinedale, Tule Lake, and Minidoka concentration campsfor the duration of WWII. He later served as a US soldier durng the Occupation of Japan, and thenas a civilian employee in the Korean and Vietnam wars, when he interrogated Korean andJapanese prisoners of war.
