Clarence W DawsonClarence W. Dawson, author of numerous magazine articles and Sunday newspaper features, is the author of two other novels, Desert Vendetta and Beebuzzards Atop the Carcass. Born in Louisiana, Dawson spent most of his life in Texas, where he taught hih school Spanish, English, and journalism. While teaching the latter subject, he was proclaimed Texas' Journalism Teacher of the Year and was inducted into the Order of the Golden Quill.
