Cintil Jose ChirayilDr. Cintil Jose Chirayil is an Assistant Professor based in the Department of Chemistry at Newman College, India. She received her PhD in Polymer Science from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at th Centre for Advanced Materials, Qatar University, in Doha, Qatar.
Dr. Chirayil has 9 years of research experience in the field of nanoscience and nanocellulose, with numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals, 10 book chapters, and one edited book. As well as receiving the Young Scientist Award from Leeds University and NIT Calicut in 2011, she has been the recipient of foreign scholarships from the University of Potsdam, Germany, the University of Mara, Malaysia, the Centre for Advanced Materials, Doha, and the Institute of Chemistry, Graz, Austria, for in-depth research in the field of nanoscience.
