Dr. Cindy Hou currently serves as the Interim Chief Patient Safety & Quality Officer and Infection Control Officer or Jefferson Health and an Infectious Diseases specialist with Jefferson Medical Group in New Jersey. Dr. Hou is the physician chair of the Infection Control Committee, Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, and Sepsis on the Floors Task Force. She served as the Physician Champion for the New Jersey Hospital Association's Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative, a three-year state initiative. In addition, Dr. Hou is on the Board of Directors of the National Sepsis Alliance.
Previously in private practice with Garden State Infectious Diseases, PA, Dr. Hou earned an M.B.A. and M.A. from Boston University, a D.O. from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and B.S. from Yale University.
